Plastic Hive Feeder, brood frame size, capacity 2,5 litres, with inner net that gives bees a perfect foothold while climbing in and out.
Feeders are containers used to feed bees by supplying them with sugary substances in liquid form.
We market different models, according to the needs of the beekeeper.
This model is perfectly suited to any Dadant hive model, as it is the same size as a brood frame.
It is placed inside the nest in place of a frame, taking care to insert it in a lateral position. The bees descend along the net to suck the syrup; the net also serves as a support to prevent bees from drowning.
This feeder contains about 2,5 lt of food, suitable for feeding in particularly cold periods when bees have difficulty getting out of the hive.
